Job Title: Manager’s assistant

Range of Salary: $22.50 hour to $25.00 hour
Work hours per week: minimum 35 hours

Job Summary

Reporting to Manager, the successful candidate will:

  • Answer telephone and electronic inquiries
  • Arrange meetings for manager
  • Assist in organizing marketing activities
  • Solve customer complaints
  • Check stock levels and order supplies
  • Assist in financial bookkeeping and shifts schedule
  • Train new employees and assist in new employees’ smooth transition
  • Perform general office management and office support
  • Perform other related duties as required

Job Type / Category

Permanent, full-time administrative office role that reports to Manager. The manager’s assistant will conduct all duties of the office administration as requested by the Manager and as described above.

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

Preferred skills in this position should include:

  • At least two years experience as a manager’s assistant in restaurant industry
  • Computer skills preferred
  • Willingness and availability to work overtime at peak periods
  • Detail-oriented and efficient
  • Excellent spoken and written English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
